Thank you Rep. Randy Forbes (R-VA).  Rep. Forbes is the chairman on the Congressional Prayer Caucus (http://www.house.gov/formforbes/prayercaucus.htm).  Last year he introduced a non-binding resolution to renew and protect the spiritual heritage of our country.  I am impressed with the resolution so I have posted the legislation on this site for you to read.   If, like me, you appreciate Rep. Forbes efforts to protect our spiritual heritage why not write him and thank him. Of course, this resolution has incensed those who want to rewrite history to secularize the public arena.

Affirming the rich spiritual and religious history of our Nation’s founding and
subsequent history and expressing support for designation of the first week in May as
‘‘American Religious History Week’’ for the appreciation of and education on
America’s history of religious faith.
